“I think we’re having fun. I think our customers really like our products. And we’re always trying to do better.”Steve Jobs
You know, this having fun business takes some thinking outside the box! In my line of work, both as a mom and as a coach, having fun is something that I consider a must. One of the things I often think about is how I can make my daily activities, especially those that can seem mundane, more fun.
A few months ago, I decided to have a little contest with my girls and see if we could skip the whole way to school. My 10 year old looked at me like I had finally lost it, but decided to do the “grapevine” (think a leg-cross-over dance move) instead.
The 4 of us where laughing so hard by the time we got to school. The crossing guard yelled “I love it!” and smiled. When I was walking back home, another mom yelled across the street “I saw you skipping this morning. It looked like fun!”
Having fun can be contagious. It can make others smile. This one took me getting past the “this is going to look crazy!” thought, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
What might be another fun “outside the box” idea? I am looking for inspiration.

Come back to jumping class with me on a Thursday AM, it’s crazy fun or come back to one of Holly’s classes.
Love it Randy! Yes, yes!
